ABSTRACT Quyen Son folk-songs singing-organisation features and perfomance Quyen Son folk-songs singing is a folk ritual activity wich is still preseried in a locality in the North of Vietnam with unique folkloric values embedded. Studuing the activity in the relatiosip with festival perfomance with its specific organisation features and performing process, we can explain why this style of folk-songs singing to worship local gods is called Hat Gi¥m (or Hat D«m signing), and we can also anlyze the structure of each folk-song and the way it is performed in a folk festivity
