Abstract Felix Vodicka is a literary theorist of the Prague-school structuralism. He specializes in many fields, including the theory of literary history. In this study, he claims that studying the history of literary receptionis one of the two main aims of studying literary history. This article also discusses the concepts, issues, and methodology related to studying the history of literary reception.
