ABSTRACT Arbitration stories appeared when classes in the society were divided, especially when the regime of private property ownership was formed. Through the characters in the story, the authors dreamed of the life of equality and justice. These stories enhance rational thinking and praise the intelligence of the judges. These stories are also popular with the Kinh people, which e h he i g’ ie w i i e e ie h he . The judges' arbitration can be simple and rudimentary. However, in the development process of literature, the magical element was gradually decreasing and the reality element was increasing simultaneously, wich enhanced rational thinking. Most of the judges are animals. Therefore, in such a correlation, we can understand this type of stories as a link between animal old stories and fables.
