ABSTRACT The methods to motivate algebra self - Sudying activities of primary education students at Tay Bac university Algebra which is a curriculum applied to students of primary education at Tay Bac university plays a particularly important role because the content of the curriculum aims at equiping the students with knowlege and basic skills so that the students will be able to study courses of mathematics in training progamme better. To inhance the efectiveness of studying this course, we will propose two methods to motivate the students’ self-studying activities. Firstly we establish a process to guide the studdents through the ways to self-study and use references effectively. Secondly we design a system of open exersises for the students to practise.
