Đặc quyền quyết định địa danh
Abstract Toponymic legends are stories explaining how places were named, usually after historical figures or incidents. There are two types of toponyms: society-related and nature-related. Toponymic legends were mostly constructed by the mythical, historicizing, and transforming methods. Names of talented and virtuous heroes or army leaders have been commonly used to call the places in which they made achievements or left traces. Toponyms contain both historical and spiritual values, because, upon hearing a place name, Vietnamese people usually feel the spiritual belief being attached to the place. Toponymic legends create the artistic space for heroes to perform their magnificent talents.
