ABSTRACT Teaching definitions of statistics of probability to develop statistical thinking of high school students The article provides four components of the ability of statistical thinking, and proposes five educational measures for developing ability of statistical thinking for students in teaching statistics and probability at high schools. The solutions are illustrated by the teaching situation of definition of statistics of probability in the program of Algebra and Analysis of the 11th form.
